June weather cold, wet in north; dry, warm in south
The weather last month was much different in the northern part of Saskatchewan compared to the south.
Southern areas were more dry and warm, while the north was more wet and cool.
According to Environment Canada, the Battlefords, Meadow Lake, and La Ronge each saw one of the wettest Junes in their history.
Regina and the surrounding area only got around 13 mm of rain, while North Battleford, for example, received around 138 mm.
