Predators heading to third straight PGLL junior finals

For the third consecutive season, the Prince Albert Predators are heading to the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League junior finals.

The Predators beat the Regina Barracudas in a 20-3 blowout on Tuesday at the Kinsmen Arena.

Caidyn Prediger has been on fire for the Predators. He scored nine points on Tuesday night, getting a hat trick and six assists. That gives him 14 points in his last two games, after his two-goal, five-point night on June 4 against the Swift Current Wolverines. Matthew Cudmore also had a hat trick for the Predators while adding in two assists.

Brayden Reiger, Braden Shewchuk both had two goals and three assists, Hayden Ulriken and Dillan Cochrane had two goals and two assists. Tyson Perreault, Davin Ikert, Owen Peifer, Brycen Brule, Kade Beaton and Waylon Alstadt all scored for the Predators.

The Predators will face the Saskatoon Jr. Swat on Friday in the PGLL championship in Saskatoon. The Swat defeated the Swift Current Wolverines 19-14 in the other semifinal matchup.
