Gary Vernon Bird

 June 6, 1965 ~ May 30, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Bird announce his passing on May 30, 2022 in Prince Albert, SK.

Gary is lovingly remembered by his:

Children, Wendy Bird (Dallas) “Tiny Bird” and Gary Jr. “Baby Gary”;

Step Children: Jessica (Thomas), Jalissa (Lucas), Kaylynne

(Matthew);

Grandchildren: Blake, Blaze, Benjamine, Blain Jr., Brighten,

Brandy, Baylee, Jaycie, Aada, Brendon, Ezra, Kaiden, Kobe,

Ella, Colson;

Mother of his children, Brenda Bird;

Brothers and Sisters:  John Henry (Maggie) Charles, Lucy Bird, Susan (Henry) Sanderson, Tina Halkett, Mike Bird,

Samantha Bird (Jeremy);

God Children:  Lyndon Bird, Lochlyn Bird, Lazaryn Bird;

Uncles:  Ronald Charles, Jimmy Alec Bird, Simeon Charles;

Aunts, Cathy Smith and April Lavallee;

Nephews and Nieces:  Jonathan, Desmond, Darwin, Larry, Darcy, Fanny, Stephanie, Marcy, Rene, Geraldine, Patricia, Lisa, Shane, Lawrence, Robin, Josie, Mickey, Shae-lynn, Christina, Roseanne, Tommy, Brandy, Shelby;

Numerous other relatives and friends who loved him.

Gary was predeceased by his:

Parents, Julius and Georgina Bird;

Infant brother, Robin Bird;

Paternal Grandparents, Alpheus and Lucy Charles;

Maternal Grandparents, John and Betsy Bird;

Favourite Nephew, Duncan S. K. Bird

Uncles and Aunts:  Duncan Charles, Henry Charles, Matthew Charles, Silas and Mary McKenzie, Sandy and Sally Bird,

Absolom and Sally Bird, Grace McKenzie (Isaac).

Wake Service will commence at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 and Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. All Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, Montreal Lake Cree Nation, SK.  Interment will be held at the Montreal Lake Cree Nation Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
