Brandon Lee Christopher Okemau was born on August 1, 1993, in Saskatoon, SK, and passed away on May 26, 2022, in Lac La Ronge Health Center, La Ronge, SK, at the age of 28 years.

Brandon is remembered by his loving family, his parents, Brian and Lindy Okemau; his grandmother, Flora Ross; his uncles, Lawrence (Ernestine) Okemau, Christopher (Georgina) Okemau, Jonas Okemau, Paul Ross, Ronnie Ross; his aunties, Jean Thomas, Ann (Clayton) Morin, Cora (Kevin) Sinclair, his uncles & aunties from the Merasty family, family of Evelyn Cook, Lavallee family; his companion, Madison McIntyre; his Godson, Henry Bear; his brothers, Vernon Okemau, Byron Okemau, Step-brother Pierre Bighetty; his sisters, Vaila Okemau (Clayton Cook), Brianna Mckenzie (Daryl Mckenzie); his nephew and nieces, Lloyd Okemau, Lavaya Okemau, Linda Cook, Gracelyn Cook, Vernon Jr. Okemau; numerous cousins, too many to name but he loved every one of them; his closest friends, Tyrone Bear, Richard Bear, Felicia Ballantyne, Devin Jobb, Johnny Cook, Bigman Clarke, Davis Naytahow, Travis Ballantyne, Evan Sinclair, and Lyndon Morin.

He was predeceased by, his grandparents, Henry & Rosalie Okemau, William Myles Ross; his uncles, Vernon Okemau, Napoleon Okemau, Raymond Okemau, Anthony Ross, Sam Ross, Danny Ross, Abel & James Ross; his aunties, Lydia Okemau, Adelaide Bear, Nancy Thomas, Irene Ross, Melinda Halkett; his cousins, Kevin Bear, Cody Thomas, Bella Ross, and Phillip Thomas.

The Prayer Service for Brandon will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. The Wake Services will be held the evening of Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the residence of Brian & Lindy Okemau, Southend, SK, and continued on Sunday, May 29, 2022, Reindeer Lake School, Southend, SK.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, May 30, 2022, at Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, in Southend, SK, with Reverend Richard Custer officiating.
