May 20, 2022 | 12:00 PM

It’s been a long time since Prince Albert Predators goaltender Duncan Fetch suffered a defeat in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League (PGLL). He went 17 games without one before Thursday’s narrow 9-8 loss to the Saskatoon Jr. Swat in Saskatoon. Fetch made 44 saves on 53 Swat shots in the defeat.

Matthew Cudmore led the charge for the Predators’ offensively, scoring three goals and adding three assists. Dillan Cochrane had two goals and a helper. Braden Shewchuk, Hayden Ulriksen, and Brayden Reiger also scored for the Predators.

The Predators are now 3-1-1 on the season, second to the Swat (3-0-2) and will return to action at the Kinsmen Arena on May 27, taking on the Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux at 8 p.m.
