Charges laid following incident at Prince Albert shopping centre parking lot
A pair of charges have been laid by police in connection to an incident Wednesday at Prince Albert’s Cornerstone mall parking lot, that left a 31-year-old man in hospital.
Rajdeepsinh Prakashsinh Bihola, 22, appeared Thursday morning at provincial court, charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon (vehicle).
Police were called to the area around 2 p.m. The victim was initially taken to Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital with serious injuries but has since been transferred to hospital in Saskatoon.
Through their investigation, police determined that an altercation had taken place. Officers with the Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section of the police service continue to investigate.
