Murray Douglas Voldeng, beloved husband of Michelle Voldeng, of Prince Albert, SK, passed away in Big River, SK on May 6, 2022, at the age of 51 years.
Murray was born on September 17, 1970, in Spalding, SK, and grew up in Naicam, SK. He worked for Flaminio Ceilings and Walls Systems for 10 years. Murray met the love of his life, Michelle, on August 30, 2013, which is when they began dating, and soon married on July 29, 2017. He loved cooking and barbequing for his family, as well as loved baseball, football, hockey (his favorite team was the Edmonton Oilers), and curling. When Murray was younger, he curled. Murray really enjoyed talking about sports with his boss and coworkers, but most of all, he loved his family.
Murray is survived by his loving family, his wife, Michelle Voldeng; his children, Jordan Voldeng of Prince Albert, SK, Dallas Voldeng of Saskatoon, SK, and Hayden Voldeng of Naicam, SK; his step-daughters, Kiana Deller-Cook, and Chyann Alexander of Prince Albert, SK; his step-sons, Antton Podratz, and Joshua Deller of Prince Albert; his parents, David & Grace Voldeng of Naicam, SK; his sister, Alison Voldeng of Okotoks, AB; his brothers, Bruce (Trish Planchot-Voldeng) Voldeng of Aberdeen, SK, Micheal (Candace) Voldeng of Aberdeen, SK, Robert Voldeng (Bev Pompu) of Naicam, SK; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and coworkers.
He was predeceased by both his paternal and maternal grandparents; his aunts, Helen Cudmore, Joan Kyler; and his uncle, John Bye.
The Memorial Service for Murray will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 13, 2022, at River Park Funeral Home, 301 River Street West, Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating.
