It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Bill Palidwor at the age of 91. He passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on April 12, 2022, in Saskatoon.
Bill spent the majority of his life as a glazier, starting out with PA Manufacturing and eventually moving over to Central Glass where he worked with Bob and Iris for many years then completing his career at Speedy Auto Glass. He used to joke there wasn’t a piece of glass on Central Avenue that he did not install or fix at one time or another.
He loved life and everything it had to offer. He loved meeting and talking to people. He was well known by so many for his friendly joking personality. He called everyone his friend and had a nickname for each and everyone he met.
Bill is survived by his two daughters, Billie Lee (Jim) and grandson Kihm, Laura (Peter) and grandson Preston, brothers Harry and Steven (Jean), sisters Nellie (Jim), Ann and a sister-in-law Pat. Bill was predeceased by his wife Joyce of 54 years, parents Steve and Mary, a brother Fred, sisters Helen, Polly, brothers-in-law Joe and Graydon and a sister-in-law Bonnie.
He was a wonderful father and an amazing grandfather. He will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, May 14, 2022 at St. Alban’s Anglican Cathedral, 1410 Bishop McLean Crescent, Prince Albert, SK
