Bomb threat at Melfort Hospital under investigation

RCMP have confirmed they were called to a bomb threat at the Melfort Union Hospital this month.

Police said that on April 5 around 7:20 p.m., they were informed of the threat but investigators found no bomb.

There were no injuries and there was no threat to public safety.

As the investigation continues, Melfort RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the detachment at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
