It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie (Robert) Edwin Stene.

Eddie was born on April 13^th, 1947 in Shellbrook and passed at Victoria Union Hospital, on April 6^th, 2022 at the age of 74.

Eddie was born and raised in the Cameo-Hilldrop area and schooled there as well as in Shellbrook. Eddie worked in road construction, truck driving and mining in Alberta.

On November 6^th, 1971, Eddie married Glenna (Gunn) and they welcomed two daughters, Tanya & Kara.

Eddie loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. Eddie was also a past member of the Spruce Home Lions Club.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife Glenna, his daughters Tanya (Graham), Kara (Chris), his grandchildren Zack, Brandon, Jonah, Matthew and Micayla,. His step grandchildren Ashley, Steven, Victoria, great grandchildren Sylith, Jared, Ryle and numerous step great grandchildren. Eddie is also survived by his brothers Jasper (Edith), Kenny (Eva), his sisters Barb, Debbie, Beatrice (John) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie is predeceased by his mom Marion Stene, his Dad Llyod Stene, brothers in-law Ron Larson, Lyn Holtorff and step grandchild Andrew.

Family will hold a private memorial with interment at a later date. Any donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
