Glen Poier passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2022, at his home surrounded by love and with his family by his side. Glen joined the insurance industry in 1986 and grew a passion for his career. Through his work, he met lifelong clients and friends. Glen was an avid fisherman and enjoyed summers in his backyard listening to music and enjoying the company of his family and friends. His passion for camping had just begun with several provincial park adventures.
Glen lived a life full of love, faith, and service to all who knew him. He is held in loving remembrance and survived by his life partner Betty, his children and their partners: son Jordan (Jalyn) and precious grandaughter Nikita, daughter Kylie (David). Along with his mother, Gertrude, brothers Grant (Cori), Brian (Kathleen) and Kevin. Brothers in law Brian (Louise), Brent (Donna), Will, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and colleagues.
Glen was predeceased by his father Roland, father and mother-in-law Don and Natalie, and sister-in-law Brenda. The family would like to thank Dr. Fournier and Dr. Helms of the Seniors First Program and the wonderful team of nurses, aides and coordinators for their incredible support and love through the past three years. In addition, Dr. Parent and staff at the Heart Function Clinic. Arrangements for a celebration of life are currently pending. Tributes, stories, and remembrances of Glen are welcomed and greatly appreciated by the family.
