More child care locations announced in P.A.
Residents looking for child care spaces in Prince Albert will soon have two additional locations for their children to go.
The Prince Albert Child Care Co-operative Association and the House of the Potter will provide the city with more spaces for children for a combined 86 new spaces.
This is a part of the provincial and federal governments announcing 1,202 new child care spaces coming to Saskatchewan as a way to provide families more affordable and high-quality childcare in the province. A shared goal is to create 28,000 new spaces by the end of March 2026.
In August 2021 the Canada-Saskatchewan Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement was signed to provide a federal investment of nearly $1.1 billion over five years for child care in Saskatchewan.
