After beating the Regina Pat Canadians 3-2 in overtime and the Moose Jaw U18 AAA Warriors 5-2 this weekend, the Prince Albert Mintos are just about done their regular season.

Nate Misskey scored the overtime winner in Regina on Friday, before Jacob Cossette led the Mintos with a hat trick in Moose Jaw on Saturday. Cossette has 74 points for the Mintos, leading the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey League.

The Mintos will wrap up their campaign on Monday and face the Saskatoon Contacts at 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre. Then, they’ll wait a week to see what seed they’ll be in, as they will automatically make the postseason. They’re currently in fourth with 53 points (25-15-0-3) but the Mintos are tied for the league lead in games played with the Warriors at 43. The Mintos have a .616 winning percentage, good for fifth in the league.
