Robinson is the first woman to lead the 103-year-old company and will step into the top spot on Feb. 28 as J.J. Ruest leaves the position.

Robinson is joining the company from TC Energy where she served as an executive after spending 27 years at Canadian Pacific Railway.

Manitoba Ag Days 2022 was postponed in January with the hope of setting a new date this winter.

Public health orders limit indoor events to 50 per cent capacity to a maximum of 250 people per event. Ag Days draws upwards of 18,000 per day.

Organizers said with the uncertainty of the reopening plan in Manitoba and with the current state of the pandemic they had no option but to cancel the show this year.

The next Manitoba Ag Days will be Jan. 17 to 19, 2023.

Keystone Agricultural Producers have re-elected Bill Campbell for another term as president.

The Minto area farmer began serving in the position in 2018 and ran unchallenged for the 2022/2023 term.

Jill Verway and Jake Ayre were re-elected as vice presidents.

Alberta Canola Growers have welcomed two new members to its board.
