Her special grandson, Jayden Nateweyes; 87 great-grandchildren and 14 chapans; her brothers, Isaac, Soloman, Alphonse, Horace, Albert, Derek Custer; her sister, Nancy Custer; her in-laws, Eli Nateweyes, Flora McKay, Micheal Nateweyes, Frances Underwood, Elizabeth Laponseé, Cecelia Nateweyes; numerous relatives from Southend, SK, Brochet, MB, South Indian Lake, MB, and Pelican Narrows, SK; her godchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Nateweyes; her daughter, Marilyn Sheena; her sisters, Flora Spence, Maryann Merasty; her brothers, David Laponseé, Frank Laponseé, JB Custer, Robert Custer; her grandparents, Josette & John Morin; her parents, Rosalie and Renee Laponseé; her in-laws, Catherine Nateweyes, Joe McKay, Paul Spence; her sons-in-law, P.V. Bear, John E. Bear, John N. Bear, Derek Bear; her step-grandson, Taven Bear; her niece, Sherri Custer; numerous other nieces and nephews; her special friends, Maryann Morin, James Sewap, Madeline Custer.

The Prayer Service for Marie will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held the evening of Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Mukoman Bear Lodge, in Sandy Bay, SK, continued Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Sandy Bay Community Hall. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Jim Fiori officiating.
