Collision on Highway 3 South of P.A. leads to ticket being issued

The Prince Albert RCMP are reporting the collision that temporarily blocked Highway 3 two miles South of the city on Wednesday was between a car and a truck.

Police say a third vehicle, an SUV, drove into the ditch to avoid hitting the two vehicles. The highway was blocked for a short time as crews cleared the roadway.

Parkland Ambulance reported one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries and police say no other injuries were reported.

The collision led to a ticket being given to an adult woman for driving a vehicle to the left of centre while unsafe to do so.
