Government releases request for qualifications to lead the expansion of Victoria Hospital
The Government of Saskatchewan has released a request for qualifications for the expansion and redevelopment of the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital.
The project is aimed to provide P.A. and northern Saskatchewan residents with improved healthcare services in the area.
“We’re pleased to see this significant project moving forward,” Health Minister Paul Merriman said in a media release. “Being close to home when you’re most vulnerable is important to a swift and complete recovery. Increased hospital capacity and expanded services at Prince Albert Victoria Hospital will benefit residents for years to come.”
The request for qualifications will close in February of 2022. After that, a shortlist of three proponents will be invited to the next stage of procurement which will be a request for proposal to be released in the spring or summer of 2022.
