68 new COVID-19 cases, 90 recoveries, no new deaths

The Government of Saskatchewan is reporting 68 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths and six less hospitalizations.

Out of the new cases, eight are in North Central, six in North West, six in Far North East and one in Far North East.

There were also 90 recoveries, lowering the active case number in the province to 722.

Hospitalizations are now at 130.

NITHA numbers

There are six new cases to report today in Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) communities. Of the new cases, two (33 per cent) were unvaccinated, one (17 per cent) was partially vaccinated and three (50 per cent) were fully vaccinated.

There are 10 active cases of COVID-19 in NITHA communities.
These cases are located in the Far North Central (Athabasca), 0; Far North West, four; Far North East, five; North Central, one; and North East, zero; 6,854 cases (99 per cent) have recovered, and one person is hospitalized. Note- The difference in the numbers is due to the removal of transferred cases.
