Provincewide radiothon raises over $888,000 for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital
The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon has raised more than $888,000 for lifesaving equipment and critical programming.
The two-day radiothon, presented by CIBC Wood Gundy, has wrapped up after broadcasting over 25 radio stations across the province for a grand total of $888,961.
“A heart-felt thank you to Saskatchewan, for taking the time to listen and respond to our children and their families,” said Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Every contribution that was made will support sick babies and children throughout the province, giving them added hope in their health care journey. Our success can only be measured by those who help us, help the kids. We also extend genuine appreciation to our radio partners who brought to light the experiences of Saskatchewan children and their families in need of support.”
The money raised will be used to improve epilepsy services, enhance provincial pediatric trauma care and to increase capacity in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.
