Missing canoers from Long Whitefish Lake found deceased

Police have confirmed a man and woman who went missing on Long Whitefish Lake have been found deceased.
In a media release, Monday morning, Big River RCMP confirmed the missing man and woman were found deceased in the water. Their families have been notified.
The pair was reported missing last Tuesday after they didn’t return from a canoeing trip to the lake.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, Conservation Officers, the Lloydminster Rescue Squad and Civil Air Search and Rescue Association assisted in the search.
