Deathly record reached with 800 total COVID related deaths in province
With two new deaths reported today by the provincial government, Saskatchewan has now reached 800 residents with COVID-19 who have died since the beginning of the pandemic.
The provincial case fatality rate is currently at 1.1 per cent.
There were also 355 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported today; 255 are among unvaccinated individuals and 87 are in children between the ages of 0-11.
Active cases in the province have dropped by 70 cases from 3,174 yesterday to 3,104 as of Thursday.
