Billy is survived by his loving family, his wife, Marlene Joyce McLeod; his sons, Fisher Ross of Weyakwin, SK, Chris Roberts of Sturgeon Lake, SK, Larry (Bonnie) McLeod of Prince Albert, SK, Jeff (Nicole) McLeod of Sturgeon Lake, SK, Kevin (Alyssa) McLeod of Sturgeon Lake, SK, Eric (Chenoa) McLeod of Prince Albert, SK; his sister, Blanche McLeod of Prince Albert, SK; his adopted family, The Moosehunters; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all were very special to him; also left behind are his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Denise McLeod; his parents, Moses & Dinah McLeod; his twin brother, David “John James” McLeod; his sisters, Mary Anne Ross, Lydia Bird, Victoria McLeod, Angie McLeod; 2 brothers in infancy; nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Rev. George & Maria Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Samson, Roy, Floyd, Doyle, Robin, Raymond, Steven; his sisters-in-law, Betsy, Matilda, Shirley.

The Wake Services for Billy will be held 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Community Hall, in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Community Hall, in Sturgeon Lake, SK, with Berle Whitecapp officiating. Interment to follow at West Central Cemetery, in Sturgeon Lake, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, (306) 764-2727, Michelle Brown, Funeral Director.
