Charge laid over PPC event in Saskatoon
A charge has been laid in connection to an election night event in Saskatoon where people were flaunting masking rules.
Saskatoon police spokesperson, Alyson Edwards says one person has received a ticket for violating a public health order, and tickets are pending against three other individuals.
The tickets are being issued in relation to the People’s Party of Canada event at the Saskatoon Inn on Sept. 20.
Police received numerous complaints from the public about people — including party leader — Maxime Bernier not wearing a mask at the event which had both indoor and outdoor components.
