Body found downstream from Cecil Ferry

UPDATE: The RCMP reported Thursday morning the identity of the person has not been determined and an autopsy will be completed. The RCMP continue to investigate.

Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating, after a body was found early Tuesday evening downstream from the Cecil Ferry.

Just before 6:30 p.m., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the area and assisted RCMP in locating and removing the body from the River.

The cause of death is still unknown and police are still determining the identity of the individual.
