RBC PGA Scramble returns to Cooke
An RBC PGA Scramble local qualifier is returning to the Cooke Municipal Golf Course.
For the fifth time since 2016, Cooke will host the PGA Scramble local qualifier on July 18. Groups of four of any skill level can sign up by July 11, as long as they have Golf Canada handicaps.
“The great thing about the RBC PGA Scramble is it’s open to any golfer with a Golf Canada handicap,” said Cole Crawford of Stellick Marketing Communications. “So no matter the skill, or male or female, it’s a program and a tournament for anybody to come out.”
Winners of the local qualifier will be eligible to play in the regionals in Regina in August. The teams who reign victorious there will be selected for the National Championship at the well known Cabot Links Golf Course in Nova Scotia this fall. Should COVID-19 restrictions come into play, the nationals will be played at another course.
