Create a SPECTACULAR Year!

Every year at this time I choose a word of focus for the new year ahead. It has been a powerful exercise that has allowed me clarity and direction throughout the year.

I don’t  know why I never thought of it before, but this year I decided to talk with my hubby about the word and we choose a word together.  The word is, you guessed it,  HEALTHY!

I’m so pleased to able to have a partner this year with my word as we journey down the healthier path together in 2014.

To help hold myself accountable and in the hopes of helping and encouraging you on your journey, I will be posting the specific changes, additions and deletions that we are making on my new Pinterest Board , called Healthy Living 2014.  I hope to encourage all of us and I really look forward to learning from others and having them (and you) share what’s working.

If the word healthy isn’t resonating with you at the present time and/or if choosing a word for a whole year seems like too big of a commitment, consider just the concept and adapt it to fit your world.  How about a new word each month or each week?

When you choose one, write it on the bathroom mirror, on a sticky note in the cupboard, make a desktop  or phone background, and/or put it on a paper in your wallet – anywhere and everywhere to help you remember what you are committed to for that time frame.

It is a simple but important exercise that can have life enhancing effects for you, the people in your life and for your whole year – not just the ‘new’ part of it!

So… what’s your word going to be?
