Midtown garage destroyed by fire

The cause of an early morning garage fire in Prince Albert’s midtown neighbourhood is under investigation.

Just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the 500 block of 10 St. E. On arrival crews found a detached garage fully involved in fire.

The fire was extinguished, but not before causing extensive damage to the structure.

There were no injuries to report. Residents who live in the area, told paNOW the man who was living in the home passed away months ago, and efforts have been ongoing to clean up the house.
