Positive case of COVID-19 identified at St. John Community School

The Prince Albert Catholic School division has announced an individual from St. John Community School in Prince Albert has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a media release, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) notified the division of the case this morning and they said the case was not obtained at school.
The cohort involved and the school community has been notified and given instructions. The SHA is assessing the situation and everyone who may have been in close contact will be given instructions.
“We want to reassure families of St. John Community School that the school will continue to operate for in-person classes while maintaining the safety protocols that are in place,” as written in the release. “To protect privacy, we are not able to share or discuss details.”
