COVID case at P.A. school

The Prince Albert Catholic School Division (PACSD) is reporting a COVID-19 case.

In a media release Thursday, it said as of this morning, officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority identified a positive case in an individual at École St. Anne School.

Communication has been shared with the specific classroom/cohort, as well as the school community. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is proceeding with their assessment of the situation, and all individuals deemed to be close contacts will be communicated with.

The PACSD reassured families of École St. Anne School that school will continue to operate for in-person classes while maintaining the safety protocols that are in place.

To protect privacy, they are not able to share or discuss details. The case being investigated is not deemed to be school acquired at this time, the release stated.

The cohort impacted by this case is being notified and provided instruction. The students and families will be receiving updates using the Edsby platform.
