UPDATE: The SHA has reported appointments at most of the clinics listed below are fully booked and no new appointments will be taken until another shipment of vaccine arrives.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced it’s making the COVID-19 vaccine available to seniors in Saskatchewan 70 years of age and above.

SHA emergency operations centre lead, Derek Miller said they are trying to distribute vaccines quickly during a press conference on Thursday.

“Our health system is adopting an all-hands-on deck [approach] in order to get the vaccine rolled out provincially as quickly as possible and we need the Saskatchewan public to be all hands on deck,” he said. “Currently our health system is at it’s most fragile point yet with our highest hospitalization rate. We need the public to support us in remaining vigilant.”
