Latest COVID update Jan. 10: No new deaths, other data delayed
In a day where no new COVID deaths were reported, a staffing problem caused a delay in the usual data.
In a news release Sunday, the Ministry of Health reported that an ‘unexpected, one-day staffing issue’ meant that a variety of statistics, including recoveries, a regional breakdown of new cases and hospitalizations were not available. Those totals will be included in an update Monday.
In the limited release, it was reported that there were no new deaths in the province.
There are 307 new cases of the virus. That brings the total number since March to 18,110.
