Province reaches over 100 COVID-19 deaths
Seven more people diagnosed with COVID-19 in the province have died, marking a grim new milestone of over 100 deaths from the disease in Saskatchewan.
One new death in the age group 40 to 49 was reported in the South East zone. One new death in the age group 60 to 69 was reported in the North Central zone. Five new deaths in the age group 80+ were reported in the Saskatoon (one), Regina (three), and South West (one) zones.
There are 238 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on December 17, 2020, bringing the provincial total to date to 12,832 cases.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (five), Far North Central (one), Far North East (15), North West (26), North Central (32), North East (nine), Saskatoon (81), Central East (seven), Regina (40), South West (three), South Central (seven) and South East (three) zones and nine new cases have pending residence information.
