COVID case at École St. Mary as all schools set for remote learning Monday
On Sunday afternoon, officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority identified a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at École St. Mary High School.
In a media release the P.A. Catholic School Division said communication of a possible exposure has been shared with specific class/cohort(s), as well as the school community. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is proceeding with their assessment of the situation, and all individuals deemed to be close contacts are being notified. The class/cohort(s), impacted by this case, barring any other cases, are required to Self-Isolate until midnight on Dec.22.
The class/cohort(s) will be move to remote learning during isolation. These specific class/cohort(s) are advised to contact 811 Healthline for advice. École St. Mary High School will resume with Level 4 remote learning for all students (including the students who are required to isolate) until Jan.15, 2021 as previously announced.
Starting Monday, all students in both Prince Albert school divisions will temporarily move to remote learning.
