P.A. Police Service added to crime watch advisory network
Changes to Saskatchewan’s Crime Watch Advisory Network will make it easier for Prince Albert residents to know what’s happening in their neighbourhood.
The city’s municipal police service has been added to the network, which allows police services to issue advisories to residents via text messages, emails or phone calls with information about criminal activity in their area.
Charlene Tebbutt, spokesperson for the Prince Albert Police Service, told paNOW the network represents a useful tool.
“Keeping local residents aware of what’s happening in the community is a big priority for the police service so this will be another way we can do that,” she said.
