Prince Albert drug trafficker receives 20 month jail sentence
A 25-year-old man will serve jail time in connection to a drug bust in Prince Albert last January.
Austin LaFond was sentenced to 20 months, after entering guilty pleas Wednesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court to possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of a firearm.
On the night of January 23, police searched a residence in the 100 block of 29th St. E. and found various amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone capsules, diazepam pills, gabapentin pills, psilocybin, as well as a cutting agent and a functioning scale.
Also located was the gun in a bedroom, as well as a functioning stun gun, cell phones and ammunition.
