Missing inmate caught after three months on the run

Saskatoon Police arrested Royce Badger on Oct. 29 — exactly three months to the day he was reported unaccounted for during midnight rounds at the Willow Cree Healing Lodge.
The circumstances of the 49-year-old’s escape remains under investigation by the Correctional Service of Canada.
Badger is currently serving a two-year sentence for crimes related to stolen property, flight from police, forgery, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
