Cumberland House Health Centre temporarily closed for cleaning and contact tracing

Oct 22, 2020 | 10:27 AM

The Cumberland House Health Centre is temporarily closed for the next two days.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said in a release the clinic will be closed on Thursday and “to and including Friday” for cleaning within the clinic and further contact investigation due to COVID-19.

The SHA is advising the public to not to visit the health centre in person. Virtual consultations can be arranged by calling the health centre at 306-888-2244.

In the case of an emergency, ambulances will be dispatched for those who call 9-1-1. All other health-related questions can be directed to HealthLine 811.

Any staff members who are identified as close contacts of the COVID positive case will be required to be put on self-isolation until further risk assessments can be completed.
