China has increased the amount of agricultural products it buys from the United States.

Soybean sales to China jumped by 24 per cent compared to last year. China also purchased $4.6 billion pork which was an increase of 20 per cent.

United States Department of Agriculture Outlook Board Chair Mark Jekanowski said China has been a regular buyer of soybeans and the country also made large corn purchases.
