One person dead in Holbein collision

UPDATE: Information provided by Parkland Ambulance late Sunday said one person died in the two vehicle collision Saturday north of Holbein. According to a media release, paramedics took three people, a 20 year old male and two 41 year old males, to hospital with injuries in good and stable condition. One individual was found dead on scene.

No further details were immediately available. Police have yet to release information.

As of 2 p.m. Saturday, the Shellbrook RCMP and the Prince Albert Police Service are on scene of a serious accident involving two vehicles.

According to a media release, the two-vehicle collision happened north of Holbein, on Municipal Road #693.

The road is currently blocked off as police investigate. When travelling near the area of a collision police ask the public use caution and be aware of all emergency personnel.
