42 new cases of COVID-19, 11 recoveries reported in province
There are 42 new cases of COVID-19, the Saskatchewan Health Authority announced on Sunday. The South region accounts for 22 of the new cases, while Saskatoon has 10 new cases, Central has eight and the North has two new cases.
That brings the province up to 1,178 total cases, 289 of which are active. A total of 873 people have recovered, with 11 more recoveries reported on Sunday.
Thirteen people are in hospital. Nine people are receiving inpatient care; four in Saskatoon, two in the central region, two in the south and one in Regina. Four people are in intensive care; three in Saskatoon and one in Regina.
