Cyclist collides with vehicle during rush hour traffic

A close call late Wednesday afternoon for a man riding his bike during rush hour traffic.

Just before five o’clock, as the cyclist was crossing the street at the corner of 15th and Second Ave. W., he collided with a vehicle. The man was not wearing a helmet.

According to Parkland Ambulance, the man’s injuries were not serious and he was listed in stable condition.

Representatives from the city’s police service, fire dept. and Parkland Ambulance responded to the scene.
