Upward trend

Since June 15, there have been 294 new cases reported in the province —130 of those in the past week.

The SHA said a “public health investigation is ongoing to determine transmission chains and to identify contacts.”

Most of the new cases have been in the southwest and west-central areas of the province, but the SHA cautioned everybody in all areas of Saskatchewan could be at risk.

“This is why everyone must continue to take precautions and follow public health measures,” the SHA said in their Sunday statement.
