‘If you run, we will shoot you’: Judge delivers sentencing in P.A. confinement case
A woman who was lured to a house by a friend she trusted, was later attacked and robbed by two men, according to evidence heard at Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday.
Layton McCallum , 25, and Dallas McLeod-Lecendre, 30, both pleaded guilty to uttering threats, theft and assault with a weapon charges today. Both men received jail sentences for their respective roles in the incident.
According to the statement of facts read in court by Crown Prosecutor Mary Ann Larson, a 23-year-old woman called a friend and inquired about a place they could go drinking.
The friend took the woman to a residence at Manville Bay. Later in the day, while the woman was lying on a couch, she heard the door open and her friend say “go ahead boys, she’s right there.”
