Fire crews extinguish late morning garbage bin fire

There was lots of smoke coming from a west flat neighbourhood Friday morning.

Shortly after 11a.m., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a garbage bin fire in a back alley. The flames were quickly extinguished and there was no visible to the nearby house or vehicle.

In the past three weeks, there have been nearly a dozen fires within a 10 block radius. Police are investigating.
