RCMP and the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) are looking for an escaped inmate from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert.
During an evening count in the minimum security unit late Wednesday afternoon, staff members discovered that offender Carey Henry, 28, was not accounted for. RCMP were contacted and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Henry is currently serving a sentence of four years and six months for failing to comply with condition of undertaking, obstruct public/police officer, possession of property obtained by crime $5000, and two offences under the traffic safety act.
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Carey Henry is asked to contact police.
