More drugs are off the streets as the result of some recent efforts by police in Prince Albert.

Tuesday morning, police arrested and charged a 26-year-old woman with possession for the purpose of trafficking, following a vehicle stop in the 500 Block of 28 St. W.

Among the items seized by police were bear spray, a knife and just over 100 grams of methamphetamine.

The woman, whose name cannot be released at this time, has also been charged with breach of probation.

In a separate and unrelated incident last Friday, two women were arrested and charged, after members of the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) conducted a vehicle stop in the 100 Block of 19 St. E.

Upon further investigation, police located crystal meth, cocaine and more than $10,000 in cash.

Kayla Hanson and Gailyn Ratt, both age 26, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. Both women have pending court dates in August.
