West flat garage fire considered ‘suspicious’, says fire dept.

A garage at a residence near Queen Mary Public School is looking a lot worse for wear, following a fire Tuesday morning.

The Prince Albert Fire Department was dispatched to the 900 Block of 15 St. W. around 9:30 a.m.

Once on scene the crew worked quickly extinguishing the fire, and was able to limit the damage to the garage structure and the nearby fence.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but a spokesperson for the fire dept. told paNOW the fire has been deemed suspicious.
