Pig trimmings illegally dumped near Candle Lake

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment is asking for the public’s help to solve a case of illegal dumping near the community of Candle Lake.

Conservation officers found trimmings from multiple pigs discarded in the provincial forest on April 28.

The pig remains were found on the South Torch Trail near the old base camp off Highway 120.

Anyone with information about the case or who has seen suspicious activity or vehicles in the area is asked to call the tip line at 1-800-667-7561.
