Paratransit & Seniors Transportation Add Grocery Delivery to Pandemic Service
Seniors and Paratransit passengers will be able to place grocery orders from home and have the specialized transportation services of the Prince Albert Community Service Centre pick up and deliver groceries, household supplies and pharmacy orders.
The standard rates per trip will apply as usual.
“This is a way to help keep people safe during the pandemic phase” says Bill Powalinsky, CEO of the Centre “People who can’t go out or don’t want to risk possible exposure to the virus have an option for grocery, household supplies and pharmaceuticals delivery through a cost effective service through the regular fare system” says Powalinsky.
The community service centre lives its Mission – “… to provide services that enhance the quality of life to meet individual and community needs” says Gloria Mahussier, Board Chair for the Centre.
