SWAT team called to home in West Flat

Two large machetes and a sawed off shotgun were among the weapons found by police Wednesday night at a residence in the West Flat.
Around 8:30 p.m., both the SWAT team and the Integrated Street Enforcement team were called to a residence in the 800 block of 13th Street West.
A 23-year-old man with outstanding warrants was arrested and will appear in court Friday. His name cannot be released until after he makes his first court appearance.
In addition to the weapons mentioned above, police also seized three shotgun shells, and zip ties.
